Show SPRINGVILLE ART EXHIBIT WILLEXCEL Tlie fifth annual national art exhibit ex-hibit will be held during the month of April in the Springville high school auditorium. The art committee commit-tee is doing all that is within its powed to ni'ikc this the most successful suc-cessful exhibit ever held. Many invitations in-vitations have bee sent out to prominent prom-inent artists in different parts of the United States and favorable replies re-plies have been received from most of them. The art movement here Is now so well known and the exhibit has become be-come so well established that in- quiries are coming in regularly. Artists, Ar-tists, who are not fortunate enough to be in the mailing list are endeavoring endeav-oring to affiliate themselves with the movement. Tbe exhibit has grown to such proportions that the committee bus ben compelled to be more exclusive than ever with their invitations this -year. In view 'of this fact, it is anticipated that this year's exhibit will surpass all others in quality. Hanson Puthuff, one of the leading lead-ing artistson the Pacific coast and winner of the first prize two years ag. is entering one of his best productions. pro-ductions. John F. Carlson of Xew York City and F. C. Friezeke, who has attained eminence in France, will participate again this year. Several drives to secure funds to finance the project have already beeu staged and the results have been very encouraging-. Teachers and students expect to work unceasingly unceas-ingly and untiringly to insure the success that accompanies such a worthy project. Every organization in Springville has pledged its support and has shown a strong desire to cooperate with the art committee. The fofllowing dates have been reserved during the month of the exhibit. There are a number of open dates as yet and any organization organiza-tion desiring dates are asked to con- fer witn the art committee as soon as possible. Opening program, Thursday, April 1.
