Show leivA lotei . . . Verl Weight and a fellow teacher, were in Springville one day of last week visiting relatives. The two came from Charmichael, California, to attend at-tend .conference and take advantage ad-vantage of the spring vacation. Verl is the son of G. Fred Weight. Mr. and Mrs. David Lerol Da-vies Da-vies of Hill Spring, Alberta, Canada, surprised their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Ernest Whiting of this city and Mr. and Mrs. John L. Davies of Provo, with an Easter vacation visit the past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Rowland Row-land are home from a delightful delight-ful six-weeks vacation in California Cali-fornia to visit their children, making the trip by jet. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence; Rowland and twin daughters at Lakewood and of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rowland and two daughters at Garden Grove They visited Mr. Rowland's sister sis-ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Thomas (Mable Rowland) at Van Nuys, also with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peery and five children. They were especially interested in the wax museum at Garden Grove and enjoyed a tour of the aircraft carrier, 'Hornet.' A trip to Tijuana was also included in the many tourist tour-ist attractions visited. Mr. and MrsJ Ted Haymond accompanied accompan-ied them on the return as far as Las Vegas, where they enjoyed en-joyed a show. |
