Show Senior 'Student of the Week' I Valerie Twelves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell V. Twel- ves, may be described as a student stu-dent with a goal in mind brought about specifically thru her interest in sewing and the study of clothing and textiles. She began this study and interest inter-est as early as 4-H club days and has continued through high school. She won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow To-morrow contest in high school and in the "junior division of the 'Make it with Wool' contest, her entry took the state and gave her a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the national finals. fi-nals. She is captain of the high school bowling team and a member of the debate team. She has been varsity cheerleader cheer-leader this year, a position she held in her sophomore year. She also attended Girls State in her Junior year.
