Show Mapleton 4-H club plants tree in park The Mapleton mayor, county coun-ty 4-H officials, 4-H club leaders lead-ers parents and 4-H club members mem-bers are expected to be in attendance at-tendance Saturday, when a Mapleton 4-H Club plants a pine tree in the city park, as their first project of the year. The ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m.. under direction of Doris Ann Rowberry with the Kooking Cuties and their leaders, Rosella Rieske and Jerree Rogers participating. The tree is being donated by Rowe dinger nursery of Edge-mont Edge-mont and Ross Rieske of Mapleton Ma-pleton is furnishing wire to protect it. Members of the club sponsoring spon-soring the project are: Peggy Roundy, Rose Marie Rieske, Cynthia Hall, Debra Hall, Diane Di-ane Hjorth, Melanie Menden-hall, Menden-hall, Ann Davies and Karen Elder. Busy Buzzers 4-H club Under the direction of leaders, lead-ers, Elsie Greenhalgh and Barbara Bar-bara Jones, the Busy Buzzers 4-H club has organized with new officers, including: Patty Houser, pres.; Alice Greenhalgh, Green-halgh, vice pres.; Linda Jones, sec; Jan Bredesen, Wendy Oldroyd, reporters ; Maureen Snelson, song leader; Joyce Lovell, recreation chairman; Tauna Lee Hunt, refreshment chairman. Home improvement will be their project. |
