More about SHS choir Letter to Editor: Dear Editor: As a parent and former member of the A Cappella Choir, I feel it is my obliga-tion to write at this time. Springville has been very for-tunate to have such a highly successful and superior high school choir. No other choir in this whole state has been rated so outstanding as ours. It has brought nothing but good and praise to our com-munity. No other organiza-tion has worked so hard and put out more of themselves, than the members of this choir. All this could not have been possible without a qual-ified talented leader. There are very few people who have the ability to make students want to put their hearts and souls into their work. While in high school, there was no other class that I worked harder in or enjoyed more than A Cappella. After all these fine experiences I had connected with this organ-ization, I feel bad for those who will be deprived of these same opportunities. Our trips were always so well chaper-oned and planned. We weren't even allowed to wear slacks or pedal pushers to and from destination because we may not have looked our best. It is a mystery to me, such good things as these are ob-jectionable to those on our school board. Limiting the op-portunities to display talents will take away desire to work hard for worthwhile things. A teacher with his hands tied would be stupid to sit and take it when he can go else-where. Where the administra- - tors are so willing to cooper-ate and want these opportuni-ties for their students. As a parent, I want the best kind of well rounded educa-tion for my children, and that takes good teachers. Let's hope our better teachers aren't all forced to leave because of certain policies in our school district. Many people with whom I have talked in the past few weeks feel exactly as I do about this situation, and the topic of conversation seems to be the same all over town. In the future we all hope that the school teachers will be given a fair chance to set up high standards and goals, that our children, through hard work, may at-tain. Darlene Huff Day Farmers discuss zoning laws Exclusive agricultural zones have been a subject of debate by farmers of Utah County said Don T. Allen, Utah Coun-ty Farm Bureau President. Some individuals have re-quested additional details on the affect of a zoning ordi-nance, and to comply with this request Mr. Allen stated the Farm Bureau has arranged for Mr. Orville Gunther, chairman of Utah State Tax Commission to attend a special meeting Monday, May 27, 1963 at 8:00 p.m. in the South Court Room of the City and County Build-ing in Provo to answer ques-tions and enter into the disr cussion regarding an exclusive agricultural zone. Interested individuals are invited and urged to attend, said Mr. Al-len. LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO CREDITORS ESTATE OF CLAUDE E.
