Show . . - j V 1 I f Lynn K. Weight, called to West Central States Mission, will be given farewell in the Sixth Ward Sunday night. Mission calls Lynn Weight; farewell Sunday Lynn E. Weight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Weight, will be honored at a missionary mission-ary farewell Sunday, Oct. 13, at 5 p.m., in the Sixth Ward. He has been called to serve an LDS Mission in the West Central Cen-tral States and will enter the mission home, October 28. Speakers at the farewell will include Robert L. Strong and Omar M. Hansen with remarks by Bishop Mays Anderson and parents of the missionary and a response by the missionary. There will be a vocal solo by Kae Weight and other music by the congregation. Annie Porshee will give prelude and postlude music. The invocation will be by Douglas L. Weight and the benediction by David R. Lovell. Others serving missions are: Larry Weight, brother of Lynn, Gulf States; Michael Woodward, Wood-ward, North British; Barry Weight, Gulf States; George Weight, Southwest Indian ; Gary Peterson, Northwestern States; Michael Bartholomew, Central Atlantic States; Gary Lee, Northeast British; Gary Chadwick, Central States; James Sheffield, Irish; Stephen Garrett, ; Northern California; Robert Hansen, North German; Ger-man; Paul Cherrington, Swedish; Swed-ish; Ray P. Brown, Eastern Atlantic; William J. Pratt, Stake. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Huish of Berkeley, Calif., spent a few days in Springville, the guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover, and also with other friends and relatives in other parts of the state. |
