Show Survey made Water picture brightest in many years Townspeople may look forward for-ward to some high water this spring, but perhaps not so high as in 1952, it was indicated by a report from the snowfall snow-fall in the canyons east of here this week. There is at present a total of 22 inches of snow on the level at artholomew. Already this month, there have been 29 inches with water content of 2.04 inches. Saturday's snowfall snow-fall measured nine inches; Sunday, Sun-day, three inches and Monday, three inches. Water prospects look better this year than in any since 1952, attendants at Bartholomews Bartholo-mews water-shed reported Wednesday. On March 19, 1952, and again on March 26, there were heavy snowfalls, indicating indicat-ing that we may yet have more snow. The snow falls in February with a water content of 6.47 inches brought more moisture than any February in 20 years the report indicated. |
