The last session of the state legislature authorized the wel-fare commission to participate with the counties in their lowed. District 4 Legion, Auxiliary convention The fall convention of the American Legion and Auxiliary ther Lyman and other rela-tives in Seattle and Mrs. Groesbeck's brother John and wife and other relatives in Puyallup, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Grant 3S'ielson and children enjoyed a vaca-tion trip to Yellowstone Na-tional Park before moving into their lovely new home at 375 East First South. Mr. and Mrs. John Collett returned recently from an en-joyable vacation trip to the Northwest. They visited friends in Portland and Seattle and also attended the World's Fair. They also spent four days in Vancouver-an- d took a boat trip to Victoria. They reported rain much of the time. Enroute home, they visited relatives and friends in Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Child and three sons left recently to make their home at Dutch John. After attending the Kiwanis Utah-Idah- o District convention at Sun Valley, Idaho, the past weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Berton Groesbeck motored on to the Northwest where they planned to visit the World's Fair and to visit Mr. Groesbeck's bro-- i have returned from Jackson, Wyo., where they were employ-ed during the summer. Carol will enroll at the University of Utah and Judy will attend College of Southern Utah at Cedar City. ; l L' I A Elder Milo Clinton Smart, son of Mr. and airs. W.
