Show Camp Hobble Creek DUP holds meeting The old pioneer cook book was literally brought to life Thursday evening of last week at the meeting of DUP Camp Hobble Creek, when Mrs. Harold Har-old Bartlett brought samples of food from the recipes of cook books of many years ago. The meeting was held at the home of Myrtle Childs and to add to the lesson on pioneer cook books, Mrs. Bartlett made up recipes for apple strudel, honey candy, salt rising bread, scrapple, apple candy and apple ap-ple sauce bread to surprise the camp members. Captain Mae Huntington was in charge of the meeting. The hostess was assisted by Mrs. Lewis Childs and Mrs. Jack Andreason and served lunch at the close of the meeting meet-ing to: Mrs. Darold Hiatt, Mrs. Lauren Bryan, Mrs. El-don El-don Reese, Mrs. Ernest Whiting, Whit-ing, Mrs. Myron Carter, Mrs. Merrill Nielson, Mrs. Wendell Nielson, Ada Smith, Mrs. Pri-cella Pri-cella N. LeRoy, Mrs. Bartlett and Mrs. Huntington. |
