Show TepupPTA school head tells leaders To plan a program of action for the Springville-Mapleton PTA for the coming year, presidents pres-idents and executive committeemen commit-teemen met with Supt. Russell Rus-sell Stansfield of Nebo District, Dist-rict, Thursday. The superintendent discussed boundary lines and told of ways to improve PTA. He encouraged en-couraged presidents to find ways to have parents visit the schools and learn what is being be-ing done for their children. Th Springville PTA organi- zations went on record as supporting sup-porting the fluoridation program pro-gram in Springville and reported re-ported that Mrs. Leota Clark, council health chairman, would be in charge. Irene Deeben, PTA council president, discussed the PTA program for the coming year and three new chairmanships were created for the council. Present at the meeting besides be-sides those mentioned were: Catherine Johnson, council secretary; sec-retary; Leah Peterson, program chairman and the following school presidents: Jacqueline Johnson, Westside; Faye Dal-lin, Dal-lin, Sage Creek; Ron Graves and Cleo Evans, Mapleton; Ida West, high school; Marva Davis, Da-vis, Lincoln; Gladys Goates, Grant; Judy Robinson, Jefferson; Jeffer-son; Carol Manwaring, Junior high school. |
