Show Jaycees Announce DSA Plans; Seek Candidates The Springville Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce today named a committee to seek the outstanding out-standing young man of the year in the city, according to Lamar Smith, Jaycee president. presi-dent. Headed by William C. Jones the committee is actively canvassing can-vassing churches, businesses, clubs and organizations to determine de-termine which young man 21 through 35 has contributed the most to the community during the year. According to Mr. Jones, nomination blanks will be available from any local lo-cal Jaycee or from Mr. Harold Whiting who was selected earlier ear-lier this year as Chairman of Judges in charge of selecting the young man to receive the D.S.A. The Distinguished Service Award winner from Springville will be entered in the Utah Jaycee contest. The state winners win-ners will in turn be entered in the national competition, which chooses the Nation's ten outstanding out-standing young men. |
