Elder, the former Miss Kay Nielspn of this city, who will make a home in Salt Lake following recent wedding, reception and honeymoor trip to Sun Valley. Miss Kay Nielson speaks vows with J. L. Elder of Cheyenne Radiantly gowned in a geor- geous creation of white organza organ-za and lace, lovely Miss Kay Nielson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Nielson, spoke nuptial nup-tial vows with James L. Elder, son of Mrs. Pauline Elder of Cheyenne, Wyo., in a ceremony at Maple Valley Inn. Glenn Tipton, former Bishop of the Fourth ward, officiated. A reception followed the wedding ceremony with a large crowd of relatives and f riends extending best wishes and 'congratulations. 'con-gratulations. The bride's veil fell elbow length from a crown of1 seed-pearls seed-pearls and she carried a bridal bouquet of waxy stephanotis centered with a white orchid. Her attendants, all in pale green crystalene fashioned with full skirts and long sleeves, wore garden hats with yellow flower trim and held bouquets of tiny chrysanthemums centered cen-tered with a large mum, and included: Saundra M. Child, matron of honor; Afton May-cock, May-cock, Jeanelle Ashcraft and Ann Richards, bridesmaids. Harold Cole was best man. Also in the line were parents of the couple, Mrs. Nielson wearing a pink lace and Mrs. Elder, biege. Their flowers were vanda orchids. Presiding at the guest book was Donna Anderson and Andy Schelling, John Knott, Bille Ferrell and Carl Nielson were ushers. An all-white wedding cake set the decorative theme for the reception. It rested on a revolving table with white nylon ny-lon skirt and dainty pale green trim. Serving were Judy Tipton, Mary Parker, Mary Taylor and Cathy McKenzie. Mary Stewart Stew-art and Kay Knott were in the gift room. The young couple left shortr ly after the reception on a wedding trip to Sun Valley and upon their return will make their home in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Elder is employed. em-ployed.
