Show Rites conducted 7ednesday for Dea Miner, 69 Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday afternoon, in the First-Twelfth ward chapel, cha-pel, for Abner Dea Miner, 69, who passed away Sunday morning at the family resi-lence, resi-lence, 967 South Main St., of a heart ailment. Bishop DelMoine Christensen of the Twelfth ward, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of Berg Mortuary. Mor-tuary. A lifetime resident of Springville, Spring-ville, Mr. Miner was born here May 25, 1891, a son of Abner D. Loce and Mary Ann Roundy Miner. He attended schools in Springville and worked for a number of years as a carpenter being employed in the construction con-struction of Geneva Steel Co. More recently he had engaged in buying and selling cattle and was self-employed as a trucker. He married Elizabeth Reynolds, Rey-nolds, May 15, 1916 in Salt Lake City. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. David (Elma) Williams of Ogden and a son, R. Reed Miner of Pasadena, Calif.; four grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Lauren R. Miner of Visidia, Calif.; John R. Miner and Mrs. William (Thelma) Banks of Bakers-field, Bakers-field, Calif.; Alda Alleman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. J. H. (Meda) ' Ellsworth of Payson. |
