Show Rites at Lehi for former local resident Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Lehi for Isabe Bird Brown, 62, a former for-mer resident of Springville, who died Friday in the American Ameri-can Fork hospital of a heart ailment. Burial was in the Lehi cemetery. ceme-tery. Mrs. Brown was born in Springville June 26, 1897, a daughter of Delbert and Susannah Sus-annah Pennington Bird. She attended at-tended schools here and graduated grad-uated from the Springville high school, later attending the BYU. After her marriage to Leo B. Brown December 31, 1920 in Salt Lake City, they made their home for a number of years in Thistle where Mr. Brown worked as a station agent. She taught school before her marriage and also the last few ' years, retiring because of ill health. Surviving besides her husband, hus-band, are one son and two daughters, Howard B. and Mrs. Craig (Kathryn) Dorton both of Lehi; Mrs. Donald N. (Laura Jean) Evans of Provo; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Harward of Denver; also 10 grandchildren. |
