Show Companion club entertains Mothers Companion Club members enjoyed a memorable occasion Friday evening when they entertained en-tertained their mothers at a Mother's Day party at the Social Center in Spanish Fork. Guests were seated at tables centered with bouquets of tulips and lilacs and eacn daughter presented her mother or guest with a lovely gift of note paper. After the lunch, an outstanding out-standing program was presented present-ed by Kathleen Whitehead Mary Jane Neilson, Lois Ot-teson, Ot-teson, and Ruth Leifson of Spanish Fork. Each member then introduced her guest and the remainder of the evening was spent in visiting and getting get-ting acquainted with one another. an-other. - Guests attending were Mrs. Roland Pabst, Mrs. Arvil Bird, Mrs. Edward Clyde, Mrs. Alice Davis, Mrs. Alma Miner, Mrs. Archie Cameron, Mrs. Marie Cranmer, Mrs. Mary Reid, Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, Mrs. Jane Richens, Mrs. Clara Sumsion, Mrs. Lela Sumsion, Mrs. La-Rayne La-Rayne Bird, Mrs. A. L. Jacob-sen, Jacob-sen, all of Springville; Mrs. Alice Willardson of Gunnison, Mrs. Measom and Mrs. Christ-iasen Christ-iasen of Ogden, Mrs. Simmons of Provo, Mrs. Hawlett o f Draper, and Mrs. Snelson of Payson. In charge of the festive event was the social committee, Barbara Bar-bara Hafen, Ruth Payne', Bon- nie I Snelson, Shirley Thorn, headed by Lois Anderson, who has acted as chairman for the year. |
