Show Visitors Welcome To State Hatchery Each year increasing numbers num-bers of visitors call at Utah Department of Fish and game properties throughout the State. A large portion of these visits are made during the spring and early summer months. Harold S. Crane, department director, today once again extended ex-tended an invitation to individuals individ-uals and groups alike to visit department hatcheries, marshes marsh-es and other properties. He noted that a visit to any of the twelve state fish hatcheries hatch-eries is interesting and timely during the next few weeks. Each is presently crowded with various sizes of game . fishes as they are readied for the planting seasons. These hatcheries are located at or near Logan, Morgan, Salt Lake City, Midway, White-rocks, White-rocks, Springville, Fountain Green, Glenwood, Loa, Beaver, Kamas and Panguitch. Director Crane said, "Our department welcomes visitors at all times. We are well aware of the recreational and educational educa-tional values coming from these visits. School, Boy Scout and other groups may make advance ad-vance arrangements with our property supervisors so that personal guidance may be given giv-en on these tours." |
