Brown bells, and more junior police badges, so now we have enlarged our junior police force to a captain, a lieutenant, and six patrolmen. They take charge of the activities in the auditorium before school and the teeth he gave each of the students a tube of toothpaste. Miss Murray's grade is practicing practi-cing for a program to be given to the students next Friday morning and to their parents in the afternoon. Mrs. Anderson's first grade is learning to use a dictionarj so they can write stories bj themselves. Some of theii stories, with many illustrations, are in the main hallway sc that all of the students of the xhool can read them. One of these stories about our janitoi and how well he keeps our building looking. Terry Brails-ford Brails-ford has gone to Idaho for a few days to visit with his father. The American Automobile Association gave us a lot of safety, posters last week. They also gave us five more Tom Brookside School Hews This Week Barbara White and Barbara Lewis, reporters. Again this week, Brookside has two new participating teachers. They are Miss D'On Carter, from Idaho, who is working with Mrs. LeRoy's jecond grade, and Miss Lorraine Lor-raine Poulsen, from Richfield, working with Mrs. Anderson's rirst grade. We feel it is a privilege for our school to have these BYU students to help us in our activities while they are becoming acquainted with teaching. Vicki Rowe and Nola Singleton Single-ton have come back to school after each being in the hos-oital. hos-oital. Connie Watkins, from first grade recently moved to Provo. Two new children came to our school last week, but being as they were changing schools, their parents took them to Arizona for a vacation before joining our first grade and kindergarten. Last week, Dr. Marshall, the father -of some of our students came to school and gave a talk on the care of teeth to the children in Miss Murray's second grade.
