Show Faits Bien Club Honors Mothers The Faits Bien newly federated feder-ated club, whose members are the mothers of 64 children under un-der ten years, took time out this week, to give a party, for their mothers. The event was held at the home of Mrs. A. O. Thorn with Mrs. Jimmie Thorn, Mrs. Art Child, Mrs, Norley Hall, Mrs. Malcalm Condie and Mrs. Roger Thorn constituting the committee. Mrs. Blair Sargent gave a tribute to mothers and her mother, Mrs. R. A. Huntington responded. Other numbers on the program were given by TVTra FHTTMnrp of PaVSOn who presented an evening of music. Mrs. Carl Boyer, club president presi-dent welcomed the group and lovely knit slippers were presented pre-sented to each of the honored guests. Present were, Mrs. Grant White, Mrs. Ed Pinegar, of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Weston Oakes, Mrs. H. C. Walton of Provo; Mrs. J. H. Ellsworth of Payson; Mrs. Theron Hunt of Salt Lake; Mrs. Arch Cameron, Mrs. A. O. Thorn, Mrs. E. O. Hall, Mrs. Ellen Anderson, Mrs. Kenneth Condie, Mrs. Russell Childs, Mrs. Alma Miner, Mrs. Lyman Robbins, Mrs. Dallas Holley, Mrs. Bert Palfreyman, Mrs. Royal Barney, Mrs. R. A. Huntington, Mrs. Paul Thorn, Mrs. Elmer Bird, Mrs. Mattie Crandall, Mrs. Reed Averett, Mrs. Dalley Thorn and Mrs. Mary Schwartz, the latter being honorary member of the club. Next meeting of the club was announced for May 15, at the home of Mrs. Art Reid where Mrs. Virgil Bird will give a program on Indians. |
