Show St. David's Day. (Free Press Correspondence.) Wales, Mch. ". The Dewi Sant Society of Wales celebrated Saint David's day in grand style on March 1st. Although the weather was disagreeable, a large number wero present from Salt Lake City, Nephi, J-'airview, Spring City, Moroni, Chester, Kphraim, Manti, Sterling and Monroe, and all spent an enjoyable time in listening to Welsh speeches, poetry and song. II. R. Thomas, president, delivered deliv-ered the address of welcome. The orator was I). L. Davis of Salt Lake, who paid a beautiful tribute to the Welsh. Win. II. Jones acted as master of ceremonies, and his ori'dual stories and quaint sayings caused much laughter among the people. One of the speakers pointed with pride to the fact that among the early statesmen of this country were such Welshmen as Thomas Jelferson and William I'enn.
