Show Funeral of Mrs Jane Bona Funeral services were held Tuesday alternoon at the Third < < 1 ward meetinghouse meeting-house over the remains of Mrs Jane Bona beloved wife of Thomas Bona of the Third ward who died on Sunday morning at 610 AM The services were conducted under the supervision of Bishop Geo Hales The meeting was called to order at 2 PM 1 I Tho meeting Wascallcdtoorderat2 PM The Choir led by It D James sang Sister Thou wast Mild and Lovely Invocation was given by John Stahele of Payson The choir wing Nearer My God to Thee Richard Evansat the organ The first two speakers were Bishops RW Me Kell and Geo Hales after them Mrs Annio Beck of Lcland sang in a most beautiful moon a solo entitled Sometime Some-time Well Understand she was followed fol-lowed by Edward M Rowe in a very fine and samyalhetic speeth The last speaker was w A Jones who held his audience spellbound with his masterly nloqucnce Mrs Jane Bona was the daughter of Mr and Mrs J C Johnson She was born in this city Nov 31 1888 The pulpit was draped in white muslin and ornamented < < 1 with ferns and running vines The casket was completely coved with the choicest of flowers woven into fanciful designs The funeral processIon process-ion was a Very large one when we take into consideration the inclemency of tha weather J A II |
