Show officials of the club about terms for 1920. It appears that Stroud asked for his prospective contract figures for next year and that the club declined to set a price on his services further than to say that if ho was satisfied with his present contract con-tract he could be assured of a continuation continua-tion on that basis, but that, otherwise, the club would adhere to its custom of sending out contracts in February. Stroud did not deem this satisfactory, saying that he wanted to be certain of what ho could look forward to next year. The officials last night announced tnat Stroud had been formally notified of his suspension and the imposition of a fine of $100, the penalty being imposed for "breaking contractual oblign tions." The club mannLU'ment says it appreciates Stroud's efi'orts and is thoroughly satisfied satis-fied with his pitelnng.
