Show TUBERCULAR CATTLE ARE TO BE TREATED Special to Ta Tribune. KOISIS, Idaho, Dec. 17. Commissioner White of the state department of public welfare and public health has pledged the support of his department to the state department of agriculture in its light to eradicate tuberculosis in cattle. 'It is nothing short of a crime to maintain main-tain tubercular cattle and not prevent the spread of the disease," said Commissioner Commis-sioner White. "We allow men's ignorance and prejudice to wield loo great on influence, in-fluence, else we would clean up tuberculosis tubercu-losis and pet rid of it once and for all." The recent discovery of widespread tuberculosis in chickens and other fowls caused the public welfare department to make an Investigation, it was found that tuberculosis in an! mals was conveyed to fowls, and to eradicate it both must be attacked together. |
