Show Ride Horses 200 Miles to Attend Fair SALMON, Idaho, Sept. 10. Among the hundreds of visitors who have come to Salmon for the annual Lemhi county fair are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Eurk, who rode horseback for 200 miles over mountain moun-tain trails to attend the event, and, incidentally, visit Mr. Burk's father, Henry Burk, a well-known rancher of this valley. The visitors are from Kamiah, and they spent ten days on the road, carrying their camp outfit on a pack-horse. A part of their route was over the historic Lewis and Clark trail, which fact gave added interest to the unique trip. |
