Show CAVELL'S BETRAYER PLACED ON TRIAL PARIS, Aug. 25. (By the Associated Press.) At the opening today of the trial of Georges Gaston Qui en, charged with having intelligence with the enemy and being the betrayer of Edith Cavell, M. d'Armon, counsel for the defendant, demanded de-manded a postponement of the trial until the principals in the Cavell case had been prosecuted. M. Wagner, on behalf of the prosecution, prosecu-tion, asked the court to overrule the objection ob-jection of the defense, declaring that Quien was not under charges as an accomplice, ac-complice, but as a principal. The court unanimously overruled the objection of M. d'Armon and proceeded with the examination of Quien. |
