Show LOCALNOTES ' Miss Margaret Ireland left Monday to visit until the weekend week-end with Mrs. D. J. Erickson of Monroe, formerly Miss Lenna Thurbor of the B.H.S. faculty, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Maly and son, Wally, and Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Jensen and daughter, Midge, spent Sunday in Little Cottonwood Cotton-wood canyon. Mrs. W. L. Faddis and children, Robert and Barbara, left Sun- , day for their home in American Fork after a four-day visit here at the home of Mrs. Faddis' mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Catherine Grant. Mr. Faddis was in southern Utah on business for the Utah Power and Light company. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Householder and Mr. and Mrs. Orald G. Beck- , strom of Mt. Pleasant returned home Sunday from a ten-day vacation, va-cation, fishing in Idaho. The Bingham L.D.S. Sunday school class instructed by Mrs. Bruce I vie, Jr., enjoyed a picnic Wednesday at Liberty park, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Alma Mantle invited Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bolliger and son of Midvale to be guests at a birthday birth-day dinner Sunday honoring Mr. Mantle. Mr. and Mrs. John Johnsen left Saturday nfght for a week's vacation va-cation in Portland, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence String-ham String-ham and daughters, Dorothy and . Betty, left Tuesday evening for two weeks in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey L. Goff and sons, Robert and Douglas, of Copperton, left Wednesday night for two weeks at San Francisco and the World's fair at Treasure Island. Dr. and Mrs. Meyer Smernoff and sons, Dean and Buddy, left August 14 for two weeks in Denver, Den-ver, Cola. Mr. and Mrs. II. Smernoff and W. Gordon returned Monday from a week in Denver, where the Smernoffs attended a family reunion. Friends of Jack Householder joined in a party at Sunset beach Tuesday evening in anticipation of his departure this week-end for Los Angeles. Present were Miss Wilma Johnsen, Miss Laur-ine Laur-ine Silverberg of Long Beach, who is a guest of relatives here, Miss Betty Householder, Miss Betty White of Murray, Miss Ro-sella Ro-sella Beckstead of Union, Miss Velma Myers of Murray, Miss Donna Davies, John Madsen, William Wil-liam Johnsen, Wally Jamison, Albert Dunn, Bill Davies and Mr. Householder. Mrs. J. L. Householder, House-holder, Jack's mother, Is entertaining enter-taining this evening at dinner for her son. Close friends have been invited. Mrs. Andrew Hess and daughter, daugh-ter, Mary, of Copperton, and Mrs. Hess' sister, Mrs. K. L.
