Show planes which have sped more than 3000 miles across the country. Three of the machines soared above the business district, swooping down low over the buildings. With a few tail j spins and several turns the flyers won the esteem of the watchers. At the field policemen kept the too inquisitive in-quisitive from the path of the "rising planes. Tho only accident occurred when Sergeant J. II. Campbell, one of the aviators, was struck in the back j by the blade of a propeller, lie was i rendered unconscious, but his injuries ! are not considered serious. Campbell was assisting in starting the propeller j of the machine piloted by Lieutenant C. , C. Nutt when the accident occurred. I Several spectators took advantage of ', an opportunity to sail above the iity. The four planes will leave alt Lake for Ogden about 11 o'clock this morn- ! ing. According to Lieutenant Nutt,; in charge of the party, the will ; circle over the city for a few minutes before making a binding. Weather permitting, per-mitting, some stunt flying will be done at Ogden. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 10. Men and teams working under the personal direction ot Warren L. Watti, president of the Weber club, Koscoe '. G william, Kenneth Ken-neth Browning and Lbcr F. Piers, the latter three former members of the air service of the army or the navy, finished fin-ished the preparation of the Washington Washing-ton heights field this afternoon for the visit of the four de Jfaviland airplane at noon tomorrow. The field, containing contain-ing more than a square mile, is said by the local aviators to be in excel ien'i condition, and wilV afford a fine landing land-ing place for tho planes. It is expected the quartet of big airplanes air-planes will sail over the city at 1 .'.',) o'clock tomorrow before landing at the field. After landing the aviators wili be given the freedom of the Countrv club shower baths and club house. Luncheon will he served at about 1 o'clock.
