She wore a pjown oi white peors'ette crepe and carried American Beau;y roses. Seymour Olmstead was best man. The couple left immediately for a wedding wed-ding rrip to New York City. They will be at home after December 1 at Duncan, Okla. The M. M. M. club entertained at a dancing: party last evening at the Granite Gran-ite stake hall on South State street. Hallowe'en ideas were carried out in the decora t ions. Autumn leaves were used in decorating1 the punch table. The club members arc Miss Ruth Flake, Miss Ivy Porter, Miss Isabel Maxwell. Miss Edna Hill, Miss Rene Hill, Miss Alice Spencer, Miss J,ue!Ia Johnson, Miss Vivian Smith. Miss Isabel James and Miss Lavina La Cheminant. The F. F. F. club of the University of Utah entertained at tea vest yrday afternoon after-noon at the home of Miss Kdith" Beatie, 279 Second avenue, in honor of new members. mem-bers. A color scheme of yellow and white was carried out in the decorations :md refreshments. A basket of yellow chrysanthemums formed the centerpiece for the tea table. The guests numbered twenty. Mrs. George Murdoch entertained the Wednesday Social club yesterday afternoon after-noon at her home on Tenth East street. A basket of African marigolds, tied with a bow of gold-colored maline. formed an effective centerpiece for the table. Hal- ; loween ideas were carried out in the place ; cards and favors. Guests, besides the club , members, were Mrs. George Baddley and Mrs. John D. Buckle. The afternoon was spent in sewing. Mrs. A. J. Gorham has returned from a several weeks'' visit to New York. Mrs. J. R. Belcher will leave this week for San Jose, Cab, where she will spend the winter. |
