Show APOSTLE J. E. TALMAGE ILL OF PNEUMONIA The return to Salt Lake of James K. Taimage of the council of the twelve of the Ij. O. S. church was expected yesterday, yester-day, but a telegram from Samuel O. Reunion, Reu-nion, president of the central states mission, mis-sion, said that Apostle Taimage had contracted pneumonia and is critically ill at Independence, Mo. Apostle Taimage has been on a lecture tour of the southeastern south-eastern and central states. The message reported that his temperature had reached 102 2-5 degrees. Apostle Taimage contracted his illness while making the tour through the central cen-tral states. He has of late been making addresses on "Mormonism," and had re-centlv re-centlv reached the middle west on his homeward trip, after visiting parts of Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. Apostle Taimage recently attended the third World's Christian Citizenship conference at Pittsburg. He had planned to arrive home bv Christmas and was expected yesterdav. According to President Ben-iiion. Ben-iiion. he' is being given the best of care at the church mission headquarters at Independence. ' |
