Show Churchill Makes Explanation. LONDON, April 2. Questioned in the house of commons today as lo why the American troops did not cooperate with the Japanese in the fighting at Blago-vestchensk, Blago-vestchensk, Siberia, Winston Churchill, the minister of war, replied that the American commander had said that the force which was attacking the Japanese might prove to be one of insurrectionary Russian peasants who were mistaken for Bolsheviki. Mr. Churchill added that there was no doubt that the force which attacked yie Japanese was a powerful and well-armed Bolshevik band. |
