Douglas B. Kimball, prominent Salt Jake attorney and member of the Kim- ! baU Investment company, died suddenly at 5:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the ' oflices of the company, 91S Kearns building. Death is said to have been due Mr. Kimball was born in Salt Lake, October 6, 1S81, and from 1900 to 1904 he attended Yale college, graduating with high honors. Later he took a course at the Harvard university law school, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Massa-chusetts bar in 1908, following which he returned to this city and tor a time was associated witli the law firm which was known as Van Colt, Allison & Riler. He was a member of the University club. Surviving Mr. Kimball are his widow and one child, both of whom left for La Jolia. Cal., last Friday. Two brothers, broth-ers, Scott and Edward Kimball, both of New York City, and a sister Mary B. Kimball, also survive him. The Sister is at present in France and is engaged in war relief work. The body was taken to the S. D. Evans chapel, and notice of funeral will be given later. |
