Cowan, who recently returned from an inspection of the property. Mr. Cowan announces that a plan for financing financ-ing the company is being worked out and in case the plan miscarries he Intends to finance it himself. The programme includes the sinking of the west shaft probably another 100 feet. The shaft is down sixty feet and has exposed ex-posed four feet of ore, it is reported, which carried fi to 6.6 per cent copper and 7 ounces silver. The ore is mainly ciixbonate with chalcoclte in places which leads the management to believe that another an-other MM) feet will probably tap the zone of secondary enrichment. After prospecting pros-pecting on the 160 level, (n case the cx- , pected enrichment is not found, it Is I planned to put the shaft down further. j |
