Show VICTORY FOR ALLIES IS ASKED IN HYMN OGDEN", June 8. Pontilicial high mass and feast of the sacred heart was celebrated bv the Right Rev. Joseph S. Glass, C M., D. D., bishop of the Salt Lake dioeese, at the academy chapel at 10 a. m. today, with the following fol-lowing in attendance: ilonsignor P. M. Cushnahau, V. G., Ogden; the Rev. Father J. De Groot, C. S. C, South Bend, Ind.; Rev. Dr. Maloney, S. X.; the Rev. Father Joseph Sullivan, S. X"., and the B-ev. Father John Dunn of Salt Lake, and the Rev. Father John Lagan of Ogden. The mass was sung by the sisters' choir. At the conclusion of the mass Bishop Glass, in addressing the sisters and students, congratulated the former upon the success of the work in the academy, and the latter upon the completion com-pletion of the excellent course. He suggested sug-gested to the students that this should be a day of thanksgiving and should be treasured by each. As the procession moved out of the chapel the students sang a hymn for the preservation and victory of the soldiers of the allies. |
