Show EMMA TROUBLES TO BE SETTLED AMICABLY Understood Basis of Agreement Has Been Outlined by George G. Rice. That the difference between the minority stockholders of the Old Emma. Klines rompanv and the interests hack of the lininia Consolidated probably would be set I led amicably and out of court was rumored yesterday. Since steps toward legal action were Instituted some time ago bv the minority stockholders, it is understood that a basis of settlement has teen outlined bv George Graham Rice which may lead to results satisfactory to all concerned. While the details of the proposed settlement set-tlement have not been made public, one of the minority stockholders announced vesterdav that ' recent Investigations indicated in-dicated that the Biiima Consolidated interests in-terests were not entirely at fault and that thev were inclined to give the ailuoritv stockholders of the .Old Emma favorable consideration, although probable prob-able not to tlie extent, hoped for when the' meeting- was called about a, month ago. It is expected that no further action -will be taken until the annual meeting of the Emma Consolidated is held this month, when, if is believed, the differences differ-ences will he settled amicably. |
