In Macedonia the Serbians have extended their front westward west-ward to the Cerna river and it now is twenty-five miles wide. The total depth of the advance is fifteen to seventeen miles. Five thousand prisoners and eighty guns have been captured. All the Bulgarian Bul-garian trench systems on the Serbian front have been penetrated. Allied cavalry has taken up the pursuit and one cavalry unit has crossed the Cerna, twenty miles north of the Sokol position. posi-tion.
