Jones, former Grizzly owner, appeared at the meeting of the minor league magnates at Peoria recently for the purpose of disposing of the Denver j franchise. There are three bidders in the field. Spencer Abbott, who used the franchise to operate teams in Topeka and Hutchinson Hutchin-son last year, now wants to buy it outright. out-right.
