The following were installed: Mrs. Bud Nichol, president; Mrs. Bert Ivie, vice president; Mrs. Grace Moore, secretary and Mrs. Dick Williams, treasurer. Hostesses Hostes-ses for the card parly were Mrs. Amy Walters, Mrs. William Peterson Pe-terson and Mrs. George Anderson. Ander-son. Prizes were won by Mrs. Amy Walters, Mrs. John Barrett, Bar-rett, Mrs. Grace Grey and Mrs. Jack Simmons. The members of the S and C club enjoyed an afternoon of sewing at the home of Mrs. Bert Whetsel Friday. Mrs. A. S. Kastanis and son, Terry, Mrs. George Adondakis and children, Sammy and Sofia, and Mrs. Nick Kouris and daughter, dau-ghter, Mary, all of West Jordan visited with friends and relatives here last week. Mrs. Rube Cunliffe and Mrs. Dick Steele were luncheon guests of Mrs. Walter Scott in South Jordan Friday. Mrs. Rube Cunliffe and her aunt, Mrs. Parks of Montana, visited vi-sited with Mr. and Mrs. James Welch of Riverton Sunday. John, Max and Helen Golish have motored to Rock Springs, Wyo., for a short visit with their uncle. Paul, Mary and Alex Saltas and Mr. and Mrs. James Malkos were among the guests at a dinner din-ner party at the home of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kastanis of West Jordan, Tuesday evening. Mrs. Leland White is visiting in Salt Lake City with her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. J. Young. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Cochinos were guests of friends and relatives rela-tives in Layton Tuesday. Mrs. William Peterson and Mrs. Ted Scroggin were guests of Mrs. Peterson's sister, Mrs. Melburn Allen of Riverton Sat- ! urday. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Joe McDonald entertained at a birthday party for their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Renold Marcon. Besides members of the family there were Miss Jean Hudson and Carl Kannianen in attendance. The guests enjoyed card games and refreshments. Mrs. Marcon received re-ceived many lovely gifts. |
