Show 1ILE AGAIN CHOICE IN 1EJIRB WARD Board of Education Member Unanimously Named to Succeed Himself. SIXTY VOTERS ATTEND Meeting Called for Tonight by Business Men to Discuss Dis-cuss Candidates. 0. W. Movie was renominated by acclamation ac-clamation to succeed himself as member of the Salt Lake City board of education from the Third ward at the non-partisan primaries held last niyht at the West high school. The name of no other candidate can-didate was presented to the convention, which was attended by sixty voters of the Third ward. A resolution, condemning certain members of the board of education and other city officials for what was termed neplert in permitting the construction of school buildings which were not fireproof, fire-proof, was lost. The resolution also pledged the nominee of the convention to Larry out alleged much-needed reforms, re-forms, which included items pertaining to school construction. The official call for non-partisan primaries pri-maries in the other four municipal wards for the purpose of nominating candidates candi-dates for the board of education was issued yesterday over the signatures of the county chairmen of the .Democratic, Progressive and Republican parties. All four of the primaries will be held at 8 o'clock next Friday night at the following follow-ing places: First ward at East high school; Second ward at Grant school, 625 South First West street; Fourth ward at Lowcil school, E strcpt and Second avenue; ave-nue; Fifth ward at Bryant school. First South, between Seventh and Eighth East streets. Activity in First. In the First ward several names have been mentioned iu connection with the school election, among which are those of II. A. Smith, D. H. ("hristensen tf. A. ilaginnis, Imer Pctt and L. R. Marti-neau, Marti-neau, Jr. It is understood that John C. Cutler will not be a candidate for re-nomination from the Second ward. Arnold t. Giauque, member of the board for many years, is considered the probable successor suc-cessor to Mr. Cutler. In the Fourth ward A. D. McMuIlen.
