Show PLURALITIES GIVEN I IBfflELECTII Official Figures on Recent Contest in Gem State Full of Interest. Special to The Tribune. BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 27. The state board of canvassers, in official session here today, to-day, compiled the totals and pluralities of some of the candidates elected to ofrlce in Idaho November 7, but no changes were made in the result. The entire Democratic state ticket, with the exception excep-tion of state treasurer, superintendent of public instruction and state mine inspector, in-spector, was elected. The official pluralities of candidates so far compiled bv the board are announced as follows : Governor Moses Alexander, Democrat, over V. YV. Davis. Republican, 572; .State Treasurer John W. Kasleson, Republican, over Solomon Worthington. Democrat, 6R0S; W. T. Dougherty. Democrat, Demo-crat, successful candidate for secretary of state over George R. Barker, Republican, 2 tU 4 ;. Clarence Van Deusen, successful Democratic candidate for state auditor, over George V. Lewis, Republican, 2 0 1 -1 : John C. Rice, successful non-partisan candidate for justice of the supreme court, over Robert X. Dunn of Coeur d'Alene, S6I5. The total vote cast for all parties was 132.noo, the largest in the history of the state, indicating: that Idaho's population has reached half a million. The total vote cast for the Republican and Democratic Demo-cratic candidates for governor was 127.-1S2. 127.-1S2. of winch Governor Alexander received 63. $77 and D. YV. Davis 63.305. The smallest and the lartrest pluralities were won by the governor 3 in Bonneville county and S'Tg in Shoshone. The vote on supreme court jutsice was tabulated as follows: Rice, 26,663; Dunn. 1S.U4S. or about 33 per cent of the total vote that was cast, showing a serious falling oft in the non-partisan vote. due. it is claimed, to the isolated position of the non-partisan column on the ballot.
