Show SAYS ORE VALUES lira FOURFOLD Parry of Cottonwood King Speaks Enthusiastically Over Mine Outlook. That the ore values in Cottonwood Kinq have Increased fourfold In recent development develop-ment of the property was announced yesterday yes-terday by S. A. Parry, president of the company. A winze Is beinp sunk on ore In a northeast fissure, which In turn crosses a vein of Iron which Is southeast, the northwest vein bein' approximately elijhty feet wide, according to Mr. Parry. An averaxe sample taken from the latest development assayed .06 of an ounce gola, 15.3 ounces silver, 8.2 per cent copper an.l 49.6 per cent iron per ton, representing values of about S'10 a ton. "The values are improving as depth Is pained," said Mr. Parry, "and the heavy Iron content Indicates that the sulphide zone is close and lead will replace the lion as we go deeper. The outlook was never so promising for the making of a real mine. The contact vein is In soft material, and throunh being intercepted by the northeast fissure should, from a geoloslcal standpoint, make a bonanza ore bodv. 1 believe that the whole eighty feet will be pay ore at the proper depth. Our earlv assay showed values of approximated approxi-mated 515 a ton, and the big hody of ore has steadily increased in values as the work progressed. We now have several tons of the higher grade ore on the dump ready for shipment." |
