Show ALIEN NIGHT SCHOOL PLAN FURTHERED A mass meeting of all interested in the furtherance of the work of the night schooi movement for adult foreigners for-eigners who contemplate becoming citizens citi-zens ofthe United States will be held in this city on February 12 at some auditorium yet to be selected. Decision in favor of a meeting of the sort was arrived at yesterday by a half score of persons interested in the work, who met in conference in the office of Mayor W. Mont Ferry. Those who were at yesterday afternoon's after-noon's conference and the organizations organiza-tions thev represented were: Dr. E. A. Smith, "board of education; W. M. Kneer, Eagles; F. E. Morris, Moose: Bishop George Albert Smith, Sons of American Revolution ; Mrs. L. C. Miller, Mil-ler, Mrs. M. K. Parsons and Mrs. H. S. Terbush, Daughters American Revolution; Revo-lution; Mrs. W. F. Adams, City Federation, Fed-eration, of Women 's Clubs; Mrs. C. S. Kinney, State Federation of Women's Clubs; O. R. Dibblce and James A. A. Stanley, Elks; Paul Armstrong, federal naturalization agent, and Mayor W. : Mont Ferry. |
