"and another team will be sent to represent America next summer if it is found impossible im-possible for the Scandinavian athletes to leave their countries on account of military mili-tary duty. These countries deserve great credit for their initiative in inviting our prominent athletes to visit them, and our boys appreciate the splendid reception accorded them abroad. ! "Swimming is in its infancy in this country and this accounts for the number of records broken during the past vear. Judging from the demand from all parts of the country for the privilege of holding hold-ing championships for men and women, an even greater onslaught on the records will lake place. "These championships will be distributed distrib-uted so that all sections of the country will be benefited." |
