Show PROGRESSIVES AND DEMOCRATS MEET More than fifty Democratic-Progressive workers of the Fifth ward met la-st night at Democratic-Progressive county headquarters and discussed the campaign needs in the various districts and organized a Woodrow Wilson club to eo-ope.xte with the regular ward organization. or-ganization. The officers of fiie club are: B. JE. Tloberts, president: V. J. Sloan, secretary; R. K. L. Collier, treasurer. The executive committee is composed of W. 1 Kirksev. W. R. Wallace, E. B. Barrett, T. F. English. P. F. Gillette, G. F. Goodwin and F. 3. O'Keefe. The club offered its services to the chairman of the Fifth ward Democratic and Progressive organizations and discussed dis-cussed plans for a series of rallies and cottage meetings and the perfection of block organizations. Another meeting will be held Monday night, when the executive committee will make a report on the plans for meetings. |
