Show COMMERCIAL CLUB PLANS AMUSEMENT Committees Appointed to Assist Joseph Decker in Arranging Programme for Winter Season, Great doings have been planned by the Commercial club covering the coming winter season. Dances, socials, billiard and card tournaments and membership smokers are among the features of a programme pro-gramme which will be carried out under the personal direction of Joseph Decker. On election night there will be high jinks for fair at the club. The Rotary club and I he Commercial club have joined hands to make this affair a red letter event.. First of all, there is going to be a dinner at 6:30, and plans have been perfected for the installation of a special wire to keep the guests fully in formed as to the results of national and state elections. Moving pictures will also be shown, to say nothing of a specially arranged musical programme. Assisting Mr. Decker In making the winter season at the Commercial club a memorable one are the following committees: com-mittees: Billiard tournament and cards, S. W. Morrison, chairman: A. P.' Spitko, Harry Shtpler, A. N. McKay; membership member-ship smokers, Lafayette Hanchett, chairman; chair-man; Louis Simons, J. C. Howard, Leon Sweet, L. H. Farnsworth ; dances and socials, T. J. O'Brien, chairman; R. J. Frolseth, Ross Season, L. S. Mariger, F. W: Hornung. Arthur J. Brown. Next Tuesday the Rotary and Commercial Commer-cial clubs will be the guests of the management man-agement of the West Jordan sugar factory fac-tory on the occasion of the opening of that plant. |
