Show PARSONS HELD UP BY MAN WITH GUN With a flashlight in one hand and a revolver in the other, a man last night stepped from behind a billboard at Second South and Second West streets and robbed Frank Parsons, 27 South West Temple street, of $7.20. "Young man, I want your pocketbook," was the greeting of the robber. Keeping the weapon steadily leveled at Parsons's head, the robber received the wrallet containing con-taining the money. "Now move on and shut up," was the parting remark of the bandit and Parsons "moved" considerably. con-siderably. According to the story told tne police by Parsons, he believes the man was Present in a saloon a few moments earlier ear-lier when he bought two drinks. The fact that the robber knew he carried a pocketbook convinced Parsons of the fact. Parsons said he could not identify the robber except by his voice. The patrol wagon loaded with officers went to the scene, but could not find the robber. |
