The game was full of safety plays on both sides, neither phiyer wanting to leave anv shots that the other might get a run on. ay the great ijM rivalry exists between these two as soon as they get together bv a billiard table. At the first of the game Palmer was i going good and koou piled up a big load, but Rust's safety plays soon slowed him up and lie nearly caught Palmer, but about this time Palmer tightened up and went out, thereby winning for himself a place in the finals. No high runs were made bv cither man, as the brand of "oil" that was played gave neither a chance to do anything along this line. j The men left to play off the finals are : Nixon, Palmer and Pilverst ein. the latter! being the youngest player of the three, j Palmer and Rust are old-timer's at the ; Came. The three players will draw to sep who will play first and one of them : will draw a bye and only play the winner ! of the first ma tli.
