Show B.H.S. CAGERS TO OPEN SCHEDULE AT GRANTSVILLE The Bingham high school 1941 edition basketball team will swing into region play tonight (Friday), when they meet Grants-ville Grants-ville on the Cowboys' floor. The Miners enter this year's region play with an unimpressive preseason pre-season record, having won two games out of eight starts, the score sheet showing as follows: Park City, 40, Bingham 33-American 33-American Fork, 51, Bingham 36 Pleasant Grove, 43, Bingham 34 Provo, 35, Bingham 32 Pleasant Grove 64, Bingham 27 Park City, 37, Bingham 38 Provo, 33, Bingham 30 American Fork, 35, Bingham 38 Coach Warren (Sonny) Allsop's starting line-up tonight will include in-clude Sergio Alvarez and Co-captain Co-captain Frank Nelson at the forward for-ward berths; Co-captain Stanley Long at center; John Callen and Clyde Nichols or Jack Gleason at guard positions. Other players who will see action during the year are: John Susaeta, Neil Forsberg, Glen Sheen, Rollo Bi-anchi, Bi-anchi, George Fergus, Jack Thurmond, George Pollick, Mike Churich, George Nichols, Lynn Henson and Don Poulsen. Three lettermen are back this year. They are Frank Nelson, Stanley Long and Sergio Alvarez. The latter will be able to play in but three region contests, those with Grantsville, Murray and Tooele, after which he will be 20 years of age, over the eligibility age limit. The first home game will be played at the local gym with Tooele Too-ele on Friday evening, January 17- The first game will commence at 7 p. m. and the second will start promptly at 8 o'clock, even if it is necessary to halt the first game. Season tickets are now on sale at the high school office.
