Relief society was held Tuesday Tues-day at the home of Mrs. Agnes Steele. Two lessons were given, one by Mrs. Harriet Bosworth and Mrs. Agnes Steele. Guests were Mrs. Rowcna Stcvans, Mrs. Betty Carter, Mrs. Dovey Carter, Mrs. Vera Peterson and Mrs. Elizabeth Caldwell. John Pantalone Jr., Fred Hoine and George Koukles motored to Fort Douglas Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burke entertained en-tertained with a party Saturday evening at their home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Tyson, Ty-son, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Ander-son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burke Sr., Mr. and Mrs. John Pantalone, Russell Burke. Miss Evelyn Epis entertained witli music and dancing. A late luncheon was served. Mrs. Mary Borich and son, Dan were Midvale visitors Friday. Nick Mascaro was a visitor a the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ros; Falsetti Friday. Mrs. John Pantalone and daughter, dau-ghter, Francis, Mrs. Ross Falsett and daughters, Ellen and Velia were visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs. Joe Chido in Salt Lake City Monday. Gerald Bullock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bullock, was seriously ser-iously injured Monday at the tunnel and is now reported ir fair condition at the St. Mark's hospital. . The U.G.I.G. club was held Thursday at the home of Mrs, Hazel Anderson. Cards . were played, prizes going to Mrs. Emma Em-ma Nichols and Mrs. Enid Simmons. Sim-mons. 12 guests were present. The substitutes were Mrs. Frances Franc-es McComb, Mrs. Delia Doman, Mrs. Basil Doman and Mrs. Thel-ma Thel-ma Barrett. Ladies Aid was held Tuesday i at the home of Mrs. Bert Whet-sel. Whet-sel. Present were Mr3. Eleanoi McDonald, Mrs. Thelma Barretl and Mrs. Lois Taylor. Mrs. Matilda Uzelac of U. S. Mine was a Salt Lake City visitor visit-or Wednesday. Mrs. Betty Forbes of Nysas, Oregon, has been a visitor at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gus Callas, the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Max Salazar will baptise Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ner-ia's Ner-ia's daughter, Saturday morning at the Holy Rosary church in Bingham. |
