Facing tho throo-cornerod throo-cornerod piece of land recently donatod to the city by Senator Reed Smoot for ark purposes at Fivo Points, a new meeting houso for the Lynno ward is to be erected early in tho spring. Plans for tho now buildiug, which wilL be located lo-cated on tho church property botween Washington and Hnrrisvillo avenues, are being prepared by a local lirm of architects. poustructed of local brick with stone trimmings, tho new chapel will cover a ground space of 35x66 feet and will have throo entrances, with the main entrance on tho south. Thero will be a main floor for tho assembly room with a seating seat-ing capacity of about 300 and class rooms in the basement. Work will be started as soon as weather will permit in the spring. |
