The most , spectacular was between "Bud" Tucker ; and "Kid" Cuday, tho latter a protege of Charley Mabbott. Tucker hod a shade over hia opponent and was stven a decision deci-sion at tho finish of the contest. Cuday's appearance InHt night waa his first as a participant oti a Manhattan i Athletic club programme. Ho mado a j satisfactory showing; but mado tho mistake mis-take of trying to outbox Tucker in the ( first round. Tucker waited until Cuday , had pretty nearly exhausted himself ami finished o otrong hlmfclf in tho final rounds that ho easily earned tho decision. Charley Mabbott said laat nfeht that Cu-day Cu-day had trained for only Owo or three days previous to the bout, and bccauHe of tho boxer's commendable showing In his first attempt Charley thinks his protcgo Is a "comer." Hp will undoubtedly bu matched by the Manhattan Athletic club for future bouts. Stewart Gets Decision. The first bout last night was between J "Kid" OdelJ and Dan Stewart. Tho boys were very evenly matched, although Stewart had a slight .shade over Odell. : Stewart was given the decision. Ray Jackson and Jack Jameson, a brother of i "Dutch" Jameson, were tho principals In'! the second bout. From the first of tho bout It appeared ns If Jameson would be an easy winner.
