U-. and business busi-ness relative to the selections of teams and place for debates was settled. The schools represented were Granite hisli, bv Principal G. K. Moss; Jordan high, .Miss Maude 1.. "Williams; I.. D. S. university, uni-versity, Dclbcrt M. Draper: All Hallows college. Prof. .1. M. Maddern: Salt Iake high. Principal Gcorpe A. ICaton; Collegiate Col-legiate institute. W. P. Jones. Two debaters will be chosen to represent repre-sent each school, and the subject for discussion dis-cussion was decided to be: "Resolved, That the federal government should establish es-tablish a parcels post." The date for tbe first dehafo wa set for April 10 on a motion made by Professor Pro-fessor Maddern and seconded bv Mr. Kirk of the Granite high. It was also decided that the winning teams in the triangle should choose another meeting place for the championship debate. The arrangement for district '2 places the first debate of the scries, with AH Mallows, Jordan and Salt Lake high as opponents and U. H. S. L'.. Granite high nd Col-i Col-i legiatc institute striving for honors. Remarks Re-marks were made by Miss Williams. Mr. , Draper. Mr. Kirk and Professor Maddern. |
